Intelihosts announces virus and spam filtering services :

Intelligent hosting announces the availability of a new and more effective spam and virus filtering for our email clients.
Over the next few weeks, Intelligent Hosting LLC will begin to flow all incoming email traffic through a specialized server for the purposes of virus and spam filtering. If you are using Intelligent Hosting email services, you will not need to make any changes to continue sending and receiving your email. You will not notice any interruption or change to your email services.
Basic virus filtering of all incoming mail will be automatic and free to all users of Intelligent Hosting email services. However, this new server level filtering is an additional level of protection and security and is not intended to replace end user scanning of incoming email with a good antivirus program (because viruses can be spread from sources other than mail.)

How it Works:

When mail is sent to you it travels through the filtering server…it is scrubbed for viruses (free) before it is sent on to you the “end user/client”.
The new spam filter will be “turned on” for clients that request it. We will then set up your account(s) on the filtering server so that your mail is filtered for spam as well as viruses.

• • Easy dashboard interface that allows you to select addresses to be white listed or blocked.

• • Daily reminder if any messages have been blocked that day so you can remember to login to your account and view all the mail that the filter caught.

As with any virus or spam filtering software or device, we cannot promise 100% accuracy when identifying spam and viruses sent via email. However, after beta testing and research of several spam filters we believe that the filtering service we are making available to you is the very best virus and spam filtering service available today.

Cost:

This new spam filtering upgrade is optional and is available to you for only $10.00 a month for up to 5 users. Included in the monthly fee this spam filter price of $10 per each group of five users allows for additional five aliases per user (that gives you 30 e-mail addresses free from spam for just $10.00). You pay only for the users for which filtering is active.
