SmartCMX users can now add Google Videos to their web pages, here’s how…

Embedding Google videos on a SmartCMX website:

Once you have a video or videos created you will need to upload to Google videos.

Browse to google.com/video and log into your account.

Hit the “upload videos” link.

Follow the Google provided instructions for uploading a video or videos. These instructions change from time to time.

Once the video is uploaded and approved by Google it will be added to your list of videos.

Click on the video you wish to embed in your site and then on the “embed video” link.

Select and copy the code in the “embed video” box, this is the code you must paste into the SmartCMX editor window.

Log onto your SmartCMX account.

Browse to the users tab.

Uncheck the “Use the visual rich editor when writing” checkbox.

You can now paste the embed code into the desire page. If you want text to appear above the video it is recommended that you type in the text first.

Remember to re check the “Use the visual rich editor when writing” checkbox.
